Funny Story: About three years ago, a cardboard box of NES cartridges that I kept in the common room of my dormitory at the time mysteriously caught fire in the middle of the night. I returned from my usual 4am smoke break to find my roommates frantically trying to put it out as the fire alarms began going off. We were eventually able to extinguish this burning atrocity by dumping water all over the area. About a month later, the box of games was returned to me in a garbage bag by the university police, who were keeping it as evidence for some kind of investigation. While many of my games, controllers, and assorted cables were badly charred/melted, a few had remained in a relatively decent condition. Among those survivors was my cherished copy of Day Dreamin’ Davey, which is still in perfect working order. Attached is a comparative photo:
The only thing that matters is Day Dreamin’ Davey. Day Dreamin’ Davey is my wrench in the works. The person who gave me this copy in highschool now apparently lives on a commune somewhere in the midwest. This is what I can tell you about Day Dreamin’ Davey.
